NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town of Batavia Planning Board regarding the application of Richard Stewart for a Special Use Permit to allow a Home Occupation II to operate a fence company in a residential zone at 8244 State Street Road in the Town of Batavia. Tax Map # 8.-1-34.

Said hearing will be held on Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 at the Batavia Town Hall, 3833 West Main St. Rd., Batavia, NY at 7:30 p.m. at which time all interested persons will be heard. A copy of the application is on file at the Town Hall for review. Written comments will be accepted prior to that date.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town of Batavia Planning Board regarding the application of Ray Nichols, 2720 Pearl St. Rd., Corfu, NY 14036 for a Special Use Permit to construct a self service storage building at that address. This property is zoned Commercial. Tax Map # 14.-1-7.

Said hearing will be held on Tuesday, August 17th at the Batavia Town Hall, 3833 West Main St. Rd., Batavia, NY at 7:30 p.m. at which time all interested persons will be heard. A copy of the proposed subdivision plan is on file at the Town Hall for review. Written comments will be accepted prior to that date.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Batavia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, August 16, 2010, at 6:50 P.M. in the Town Hall, 3833 West Main St Rd, Town of Batavia, Genesee County, New York to consider the application of Richard Stewart for an Area Variance under Section 235-44-c (5) of the Town of Batavia Zoning Ordinance pertaining to to size of a home occupation business sign, for property identified by Tax Map #8.1-34, located at 8244 State Street in the Town of Batavia. The applicant proposes to erect a sign 12 square feet in area on the side of a builiding for a home occupied business. Building was used in the past as a motorcycle shop. Current zoning regulations allows for a sign of this nature to be 4 square feet in area. The Zoning Board of Appeals invites and will accept both oral and written comments relevant to this application at said hearing. A copy of the application is available for review at the Town Hall.
